Steve has lived in Florida since the age of 6 for all but 7 years and currently resides in the Tampa Bay area. While still single-digits and coming from a struggling early life, Steve realized the opportunity to create wealth using any opportunity available. He capitalized on it by selling crafts, foods, door-to-door sales, and commission from the now defunct Olympia Sales Club before starting his career. His educational path was in IT (Network Administration), but opportunities opened elsewhere.
Steve started his career in Federal Student Loan collections for 3 states while learning and practicing collections, along with forecasting, reporting, and Skip-Tracing, as well as training staff. In 2003, he leveraged that experience by taking an Asset Manager position with GMAC Mortgage in Special Servicing which provided the opportunity to learn numerous facets of the industry. He then worked on the federal OCC IFR (Independent Foreclosure Review) project by reviewing claims from homeowners, later creating the training curriculum and becoming the sole trainer for the project. Currently, Steve is a Design & Measurement Lead for Nielsen, the world’s largest media research firm, along with owning 3 small businesses.
Between and during his tenure with the various companies, Steve founded 3 businesses; one focusing on business liquidations and overstock, one on patriotic apparel, and the other on beach equipment rentals. Steve has ideas for 6 potential businesses in that are currently in their infancy stages. Steve is open to grants, loan offers, and hear pitches from Angel Investors and VC’s for seed capital. All have a total investment need of under $100k, 2 are under $50k.
Steve is a staunch Republican with strong conservative views. He believes traditional values are what is necessary to maintain the integrity of the greatest country on earth, USA! Outside of work, Steve’s focus is his family, his dog and cat, beer brewing, fishing, darts, and golf.
