In an ever-changing economy, we all must adapt and remain relevant. Skills must be honed, details must be polished, and closings must be strong.

Over the span of 24 years, I have obtained skills in vast areas that will fill the gaps where quality escapes, deficiencies, and new knowledge is needed. Resume and areas of specialty are listed in the Resume page.

Steve is Lean Six Sigma certified (Green Belt, ASQ, 2017) which he applies to the day-to-day work to identify waste and defects in processes.

19 Years of Reporting

Whether simply outputs from minimal spreadsheets, to Pivot tables and Arrays in Excel, to front-end UI applications such as Business Objects and Alteryx, Steve has produced thousands of reports required to “tell the story” and/or forecast trends.

10 Years of Mortgage Servicing and Underwriting

Upon entering the industry in 2003 (pre-Katrina), then stepping away in 2013 (post-market fallout), Steve has seen several market conditions and changes such as the “Creative Financing” boom, market fallout in the mid-2000’s, Special Servicing of investor-owned assets, HAMP, loan and workout underwriting, foreclosure, and unique/special dispositioning.

Coming from a different unit, I had no idea what to expect and no experience in Workforce Management. Within weeks, Steve had provided a thorough understanding of the systems, applications, and reports necessary to successfully perform in my new role.

I was a vendor that worked with Steve for years during his time at GMAC. We provided help services to homeowners, but needed to also work with the banks for approval and terms. Not only was Steve able to help nearly all of the loans I sent him, there was never a question he could not answer or issue he was not able to resole. I hope to work with him again if he returns to the industry.

During a merger of our 2 companies, Steve traveled for 6 weeks to our office out of state to train a group of leaders on the methods and systems his company was using and would be adopted by ours.
